Check Conversion/Acceptance (ECC/ECA) service and
it will literally change the way you think about checks
now and in the future. This service not only delivers a
streamlined check acceptance process, but also eliminates
returned checks, returned check fees and warranty claims,
while reducing check fees and trips to the bank. It also
means reduced paperwork and improved cash flow through faster
closing/balancing and settlement.
Designed to mirror the process currently
for credit cards, the ECC/ECA service converts paper checks
into electronic items at the point of sale and automatically
deposits these funds into your bank account. The check is
handed back to the customer as a receipt.
ECC/ECA will eliminate taking deposits to
the bank and will get your money into your bank account
quicker than traditional check deposits. Can be programmed
for tip capture and individual clerk numbers to eliminate
accounting nightmares.
With Electronic Check Conversion/Acceptance, as an optional
service, all non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks are guaranteed
for 100% of the face value of the check (exception of Stop
payments which are a legal issue).
The process is simple. After the check writer
presents his check, the clerk authorizes it through a MICR
Imager and gives the check writer a printed receipt for
signature. This signature allows the processor to electronically
present the transaction to the check writer’s bank
for settlement and that money is automatically deposited
into your account.
